This was a confident and musical performance which conveyed the style successfully. The playing was tightly-synched to the backing throughout and the musical detail was given close attention. A high standard of technical accuracy and fluency was achieved, with only minimal deviation. The use of contrasting sounds was well-managed and effective, and the final ad lib solo demonstrated a very good sense of idiom.

This was a committed and well-styled performance. The musical genre was put across convincingly, the groove locked-into tightly and a good feel achieved. The rhythmic and fretting detail was given close consideration throughout, the playing well-articulated and controlled. The solo section contained some creative and virtuosic ideas which worked well in the context.

The slow-bend achieved a reasonably musical effect, and the solo section was played to a high standard of accuracy and fluency, the ad lib repeat demonstrating advanced technical and musical finesse. All in all, this was an excellent effort.
