Acoustic Haven

Ink Haven is a tattoo studio by day and an intimate performance space for Acoustic Haven Belfast by night. The session was a perfect reminder of how well grunge and alternative rock can translate when stripped of their high-gain amplifiers and heavy percussion.

Mia and Aaron took to the stage with just an acoustic guitar and bass, delivering a set that was both vulnerable and powerful. The acoustics of the studio were unexpectedly warm, allowing every vocal nuance to resonate with the small, attentive crowd.

This session was about proving a point: if a song is truly great, it works just as well on an acoustic guitar. Our takes on Nirvana and Alice in Chains weren't just quieter versions; they were completely reimagined arrangements that highlighted the melodies and lyrics that originally defined the genre.
