Union Bar

The Union Bar was where the Radio In Chains™ concept first took flight. A cold February night became the starting point for a brand that explores the emotional depth of grunge and 90s alternative rock.

We played for ninety minutes, twenty-two songs, across two sets. It was a test of endurance and of whether a Belfast crowd would respond to a setlist built around non-mainstream tracks from Alice in Chains and Radiohead.

This was also the first time we performed "The Bends" and "Man in the Box" in front of a live audience. The feedback from the crowd that night confirmed our belief that there is a hunger for authentic, high-mastery live music that skips the gimmicks and focuses on the power of the song.
